Supergirl Duo Talks Kara and Mon-El's 'Clean Slate,' Previews the Martians' 'Emotional Journey' Moving Forward

Supergirl Duo Talks Kara and Mon-El's 'Clean Slate,' Previews the Martians' 'Emotional Journey' Moving Forward
Monday’s Supergirl doubled as a long-overdue therapy session for the members of Kara’s inner circle — and they had a lot to get off their chests.

Let’s begin with the Girl of Steel, who — as a result of a psychic bleed brought about when M’yrnn attempted to treat his mental deterioration — finally had it out with that “lying jackass” Mon-El. In her state of heightened anger, she lashed out at him for disrespecting her at every turn. She also admitted to romanticizing their relationship, at which point they both settled on a “no more apologies” rule. (There

Supergirl Season 3 Episode 14 Review – ‘Schott Through the Heart’

Martin Carr reviews the fourteenth episode of Supergirl season 3…

After the enforced hiatus which saw Supergirl disappear off our screens due to a scheduling clash, it is nice to have things back where they belong. Cheesy karaoke, shrink wrapped superheroes and marauding prehistoric animals run rampant in this return to form. Laurie Metcalf who has made inroads with The Big Bang Theory, turned heads in Ladybird and been unappreciated for too long makes more friends here opposite Jeremy Jordan.

Exploding coffins, family revelations, racial table talk and domestic abuse are all touched on amongst bomber bi-planes and flying monkey film references. What these writers have done is continue addressing contentious topics whilst blindsiding young audience members with set pieces, fisticuffs and insubstantial relationship dynamics. For my money the meat and potatoes of this episode reside between David Harewood and Carl Lumbly as Martian father and son. Working well off each

Mon-El Finally Gets A Better Costume In New Supergirl Photos

Chris Woods’ Mon-El has been part of Supergirl since the beginning of season 2 but, to date, we haven’t seen him wear the character’s red and blue costume from the comics. Ever since joining up with the Legion of Superheroes this year, he’s just settled for that boring go-to on-screen super-suit – black leather. At last, though, he’s about to get a fashion upgrade, as these new photos from an upcoming episode confirm that the Superman-coloured costume is on its way.

From how it looks in these images, Supergirl‘s costume designers have once again done an awesome job of faithfully replicating a suit from the comics. In fact, this might even be their best effort yet.

Tellingly, there’s a logo-shaped hole on his chest that makes it look like Mon-El will soon be sporting the ‘S’ shield as the character often does in the source material.

Supergirl Hits The Dojo In New Synopsis

Hey, do you remember this show called Supergirl?

Well, we certainly hope you do. Sure, Legends of Tomorrow may have been tearing it up in that very time slot for the past couple of months, but it’s hard to ignore how things just abruptly left off when the back half of the Girl of Steel’s third season was beginning to heat up.

Really, aside from the joyous news confirming that Supergirl will be returning for a fourth season, word regarding the Maiden of Might’s small screen adventures has been quite mum in recent memory, no doubt making the extended hiatus even more agonizing for her fans to endure.

Thankfully, we’re able to gaze into the not too distant future via this freshly surfaced synopsis for “In Search of Lost Time”:

J’Onn Has To Face The Truth About His Father – When Myr’nn (guest star

Review: Static Shock the Complete Third Season

  • Comicmix
Milestone Media’s best-known character, Static, is back in the third volume of his animated adventures after the release of the first two seasons last year. Static Shock was somewhat revolutionary back in the day, featuring an African-American teen super-hero who juggled classes, girls, villains, and parents, not all that dissimilar to a certain wall-crawler. The comic was long gone, but he left a mark.

Virgil Hawkins (Phil Lamarr) arrived for the Static Shock the Complete Third Season sporting a brand new costume and during the season, his Bff Richie (Jason Marsden) gained powers, taking on the name Gear. Throughout the thirteen episodes comprising the series, which aired in the Kids’ WB, he left the confines of Dakota and journeyed to Africa and even partnered with Superman after fighting alongside the Justice League.

It helped that there were strong scripts from Milestone co-founder Dwayne McDuffie, backed by Paul Dini, Len Uhley,
