Vincent Lombardi was born on June 11, 1913 in Brooklyn, New York, USA as Vincent Thomas Lombardi. He was an actor, known for Paper Lion (1968), Second Effort (1968) and The NFL on CBS (1956). He was married to Marie Lombardi. He died on September 3, 1970 in Washington, District of Columbia, USA.

Coached the Green Bay Packers to 3 consecutive World Championships including the first two Super Bowls.
Head coach of the National Football League's Green Bay Packers (1959-1967) and Washington Redskins (1969).
Inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, 1971.
The trophy awarded to the winner of the annual Super Bowl is named after him.
He was a member of Fordham University's famed "Seven Blocks of Granite" as a defensive guard during the thirties.
