Shai Levy(I)

Born in Jerusalem in 1973, Shai Levy got his education at the Rubin Academy of Music and Dance (high school) and the Sam Spiegel Film and Television School, Jerusalem (diploma, 1999). After working in Israel as a professional cameraman from 1999 until 2001, filming mostly documentaries and TV, he moved to Berlin and made it his home. He has been active in the local Berliner independent film scene, shooting 2 feature films, many short fiction, video art and numerous big-screen and TV documentaries. Most of his filmmaking work since 2007 is centered around advertisement and documentary, as a director, cinematographer and producer. Additionally, he is producing music, scoring many of his own and other's film productions.
