Júlia Lemmertz was born on March 18, 1963 in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil as Júlia Lemmertz Dias. She is an actress and producer, known for Do Começo ao Fim (2009), Meu Nome Não é Johnny (2008) and A Cor do seu Destino (1987). She has been married to Alexandre Borges since 1993. They have one child. She was previously married to Álvaro Osório.

Daughter of actress Lilian Lemmertz and actor Lineu Dias.
Mother of Luiza Lemmertz (with her 1st husband, Álvaro Osório) and Miguel, born March 3rd 2000 in Rio de Janeiro (with Alexandre Borges).
Won Award for best supporting actress in Brasília Festival for her role in "A Cor do Seu Destino" (1986).
Was nominated for Grande Prémio Cinema Brasil (best actress) for her role in "Um Copo de Cólera" (1999) and for her role in "As Três Marias" (2002).
She was the host of the Tv program "Revista do Cinema Brasileiro" (Brazilian Cinema Magazine).
