Starting in fashion photography, Vernon worked through an illustrious period shooting light entertainment, studio dramas and pop programmes at LWT during the now referred to golden era of British TV. For many years, he was one of the top five most sought after commercial's DoP's in London and Europe.
He worked with Ridley Scott, Tony Scott, Adrian Lyne and a whole new generation of ground-breaking commercials directors.
He went on to light and shoot TV series and feature films in the UK and USA, a number of which have risen to become cult classics.
He continue to collaborate with filmmakers worldwide.
