A writer, director and producer, Victoria's work has been nominated for an Emmy, is included in the collection of the Motion Picture Academy's Mary Pickford Film Library, and was part of a special exhibit of the Library of Congress. In 2018, she was selected as one of StudioDaily's "Exceptional Women in Production." Her TV work includes dramas, comedies, documentaries and specials aired on ABC, A&E, Discovery, PBS, Turner, Comedy Central, Logo and in more than 20 countries worldwide, including England's Channel Four, France's Canal Plus, CCTV (China) and Spanish TV. Victoria has directed and/or produced for the stars of Orange Is the New Black, Seinfeld, Law & Order SVU, and The Walking Dead. Film credits include the noir thriller, Room 32, a festival favorite shown globally that just picked up two new medals; An Empty Bed, a New York Times "critics' pick;" Pair of Jokers, starring Jerry Stiller (King of Queens; Seinfeld); and the multiple prize-winning The Amish: Not to Be Modern. Victoria was also a producer on Better Than Ever, a feature starring Oscar-Winner William Hickey (Prizzi's Honor), Victor Colicchio (BlackKlansman) Carl Gordon (Roc) and the infamous Joey Buttafuoco. Saying Kaddish, a drama for ABC, was nominated for an Emmy. Recently, Victoria directed an ensemble cast composed of Tony winner Marcia Rodd, "America's Funniest Mom" Andrea Mezvinsky, and Latin star Danny Pardo (Entre Cannibales) in the comedy film Open House, which Victoria also co-wrote. One of the highlights of Victoria's career thus far was adapting Nobel Prize-winning novelist Toni Morrison's first book, The Bluest Eye, for the screen. As a script doctor and/or creative consultant on numerous projects, Victoria has been blessed to work with legends from celebrated photographer Robert Frank on his drama The Last Supper to Talking Heads star David Byrne on the groundbreaking PBS series Alive From Off-Center. Victoria creates content across media, genres, generations and borders. She's travelled to India, Pakistan, China, Switzerland, Germany and Holland to direct and develop films and TV shows, and is a playwright and award-winning theatre director. Currently, Victoria is developing her family-friendly musical film DOGS! Waiting to Be Loved with Broadway/film composer Norman Thalheimer and Grammy-winner Charlie Midnight, who has written and/or produced for artists including James Brown, Christina Aguilera and Hillary Duff. Victoria is set to direct her original thriller script Beyond the Veil in 2019. Beyond the Veil features an international cast and deals with themes of karmic justice; Canadian co-producer Zoran Dragelj (Dark Harvest) has just joined the team. Also in development is The Mage, a supernatural drama TV series inspired by historical events that follows a psychic warrior who battles evil across time and space.
