Laszlo Lajtha (1892–1963)

Hungarian composer. An expert in folk music of his native country, he studied at the Budapest Music High School and joined the folklore department of the Hungarian National Museum in 1913. Music professor at the Budapest National Conservatory 1919-49. He traveled widely in Europe and was renowned for his folk music research. See full bio »
