He is an actor and writer, known for Star Wars: Episodi III - Sithin kosto (2005), Star Wars: Episodi II - Kloonien hyökkäys (2002) and Daybreakers (2009). He has been married to Sandra Jane since 16 August 1990. They have eight children.

Matthew (boy) 13, Iosefa (boy) 7, Jessica (girl) 5, Nathaniel (boy, his nick name is Tana, after the NZ All Black Rugby Captain and his fathers cousin, and Georgia Rose (girl) 8mths. His wife is a secondary school teacher and was born in Romford, England. When he proposed to her in 1989, it was in the shadow of Big Ben, by the river Thames. Afterwards they said a prayer in Westminster Abby and are still together living and working out of Sydney, Australia

    There is possibilities in everything. When you film in NZ sometimes the budget doesn't quite stretch as far as the script would need. That's when a we use a bit of kiwi ingenuity and lots of duct tape to get us through the scene.
