Petar Krelja was born on 24 June 1940 in Stip, Kingdom of Yugoslavia. He was a director and writer, known for Na sporednom kolosjeku (1993), My Neighbor Tanja (2007) and Evina klasa (1996). He was married to Vesna Svec Krelja. He died on 20 September 2024 in Zagreb, Croatia.
