"Kooch" is an accomplished New York-based session guitarist. He was
featured on just about every Carole King album of the late '60s and
early '70s. Featured on James Taylor's Sweet Baby James (he was a
member of a band called Flying Machine with a then-unknown Taylor.
Remember the line "Sweet dreams and Flying Machines in pieces on the
ground" from that album?).
Did session work with Linda Ronstadt, Warren Zevon, Harry Nillson and
Jackson Browne. Wrote "Dirty Laundry" and "All She Wants to do is
Dance" with Don Henley.
Produced recordings for Neil Young, Jon Bon Jovi, Billy Joel and the
Spin Doctors.
Still in-demand producer, guitarist and songwriter. In 1996, he formed
blues band SloLeak, with former Bob Dylan bassist Harvey Brooks and
Buddy Miles guitarist Charlie Karp, which released an album on
Connecticut-based Pure Records.
Co-produced 2 songs, "Penny & Me" and "Every Word I Say",
for pop group Hanson's new album, Underneath (coming April 20th 2004)
