Many more CBS films followed with Michael advancing himself to producer. Michael's hard work was rewarded with an Emmy in 1994 for his work on the CBS film, "Kids Killing Kids." Michael produced specials for NBC and Disney and also worked on such shows as "Unsolved Mysteries," "Real Stories of The Highway Patrol" and "American Gladiators."

Michael moved to Nashville, Tennessee in 1994 to pursue his other passion, music. While honing his songwriting and composing skills, he continued working in television Production for Nashville cable networks TNN and CMT. He went on to compose the music for two PBS documentaries, winning a second Emmy for his work. He songs have been featured in the series "Any Day Now" as well as several RFD-TV shows.
