Reno 911! Is Getting a Movie Sequel

It looks like a Reno 911! movie sequel could be in the cards. And it could be happening very soon. Reno 911!: Miami came out a full decade ago in 2007, but the Comedy Central series that spawned the comedy movie has retained a following over the years and it looks like that following may be enough to justify another movie. According to star Niecy Nash, the Reno 911! movie sequel could be shooting next summer.

Niecy Nash, who plays Deputy Raineesha Williams on Reno 911! was interviewed during the premiere for her new movie Downsizing. While at the premiere, she was asked about another movie based on the comedy series and, according to her, such a project is in the works. If she can make it happen, the Reno gang will reunite next summer to shoot the comedy sequel. Here's what she had to say about it.

"I'm trying to get everybody to commit to it this summer!

‘Lady Dynamite’ Season 2 Review: The Perfect Antidote for This Woman-Hating Garbage World
Every day, it seems, we’re confronted by reminder after reminder that the world is a dumpster fire, so it’s a genuine relief to have a new season of “Lady Dynamite” premiere this weekend. Reality is dumb, but life inside Maria Bamford’s brain is a blessing.

The series, created by Mitch Hurwitz and Pam Brady, is based on Bamford’s life to a deeply felt degree, celebrating her quirks as it chronicles her misadventures as an actor and comedian with plenty of meta touches and occasional dashes of the profane. Inside Maria’s brain, the rules of time and space are constantly in flux, pugs can talk, and even the darkest truths feel bearable, especially when her issues with manic depression and bipolar disorder flare up. At times, “Lady Dynamite” goes down some dark paths. But because the show is so throughly grounded in Bamford’s innate goodness,

Third Trailer for Alexander Payne's Human Shrinking Film 'Downsizing'

"Open your eyes. The world is filled with things to see." Paramount has debuted another official trailer for Alexander Payne's Downsizing, which has been playing at film festivals over the past few months. This social satire from Payne is a hugely ambitious film where the Norwegians have invented a method to shrink humans down to a very small size - about 4 inches. The story follows Matt Damon and Kristen Wiig as a married couple who decide to get the procedure in order to live a happier, better life in a tiny city – and save the environment while at it. The cast includes Christoph Waltz, Laura Dern, Jason Sudeikis, Neil Patrick Harris, Udo Kier, Kerri Kenney, and Hong Chau. If you're curious about it, or if you think it's a cool concept, I recommend seeing this. But it's probably not what you're expecting. Still, it's fun (at times). Here's the

Full Trailer for Alexander Payne's Human Shrinking Film 'Downsizing'

"Nervous?" "Uh, a little..." Paramount has just unveiled the full trailer for Alexander Payne's Downsizing, which premiered at the Venice and Toronto Film Festival to mixed reviews. This is such a kooky concept and Payne takes it to some very weird places, as hinted at in this trailer. It's definitely worth a watch because this is so unlike anything else. Here's the full-length trailer

First Brief Teaser Trailer for Alexander Payne's New Film 'Downsizing'

"The world is filled with things to see." Paramount has debuted the first short teaser trailer for Alexander Payne's Downsizing, which is premiering at the Venice Film Festival today (hence why this trailer is out). This social satire from Payne is a hugely ambitious film where, sometime in the future, the Norwegians have invented a method to shrink humans down to a very small size - about 4 inches. It is a totally wacky film but it has so much to say, and it's unlike anything you've ever seen. Put this on your radar now.

Some are good, some are bad, but the power lies with all of us to determine which are worthy of a full season order. Read our reviews below to get a little insight into each offering, and watch the episodes for yourself right here.

The Legend of Master Legend

John Hawkes can’t catch a break. When he nabbed the lead in Charlie Kaufman’s FX pilot — Charlie Kaufman — it didn’t get picked up. He landed an Oscar nomination for “The Sessions,” but his follow-ups have meant diddly-squat comparatively. Sure, he stole a few scenes in “Lincoln” and got to take part in Amy Schumer’s amazing sketch,

Here Are the Best-Cast Films of 2016, According to Top Casting Directors

Here Are the Best-Cast Films of 2016, According to Top Casting Directors
Casting directors have a strange distinction in the awards world: Their guild has an Academy branch, but it’s the only one without its own Oscar category. Imagine for a moment that they did. What are the best-cast films of 2016?

IndieWire asked 13 of the top casting directors to nominate films worthy of casting recognition this year. There were a few restrictions worth noting. Although casting directors often get early sneak peeks at films, many noted there are some films they still hadn’t seen. In particular, many are anxious to find out what legendary casting director Ellen Lewis has cooked up for Martin Scorsese’s “Silence.” The other restriction, which was imposed as responses came in: They couldn’t all write about “Moonlight.” (We’ll dig further into the casting of that film in another article.)

[Review] Hell and Back

You may have noticed posters for the R-rated, stop-motion animated comedy Hell and Back throughout the summer and fall seasons in anticipation of its October release only to find it didn’t come to a theater near you. It was released and took in about $150,000 on the few screens it graced to the chagrin of a ton of hopeful Nick Swardson fans complaining on the movie’s Facebook page about their inability to watch. So this week brings with it a belated VOD Christmas gift for many. To all those who believe themselves one of these brave souls chomping at the bit, please look deep inside yourself and really ask whether Swardson is your God because his being merely a passing chuckle won’t be enough to save you.

The brainchild of Human Giant creator Tom Gianas (who co-directs with Moral Orel and Robot Chicken art director Ross Shuman), Robot Chicken writer Zeb Wells,
