Jeremy Kemp was born on January 3, 1935 in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, England as Edmund Walker. He is an actor, known for Top Secret! (1984), The Blue Max (1966) and Four Weddings and a Funeral (1994).

He's the son of an engineer.
Studied acting at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London.
He was considered for the roles of Dr. Armstrong and Dr. Bukovsky in Lifeforce (1985).
Although he was played Liv Ullmann's father in Pope Joan (1972), he is less than four years her senior in real life.
His early role as PC Bob Steele in Z Cars (1962) had previously been offered to Michael Caine before he became famous as a film star.
