It was a monumental year for Haven as it made its first panel appearance at San Diego Comic-Con. Haven not only hosted a fan party in honor of the occasion, they held their 1st panel at Sdcc, then rushed over for a 2nd panel at The Nerd Machine’s Nerd HQ — and managed to squish in time for fan scavenger hunt along the way. Everywhere you turned for the first couple of days at Sdcc there was a Haven event to be had. Fans of the show and newcomers were delighted with the large presence at San Diego Comic-Con and made sure that each appearance was a sold-out, jam-packed, and bursting at the seams event.
The Thursday July 18th party was held for the second year at the Sidebar, nestled in the center of the Gaslamp District in San Diego. It featured cast members from Entertainment One’s Syfy hit Haven and other celebrities,...

Brian’s been reading Marty Feldman. He’s also been making TV shows. Find out about both below!
It’s always fascinating (to me, at least) when gurus come in to record commentaries, if only because that moment is a nice little reflection of their viewing habits and what they’re currently enthusiastic about. Same goes for when we get notes in our inbox (which we encourage more of!) because it’s genuinely nice to see where the various creatives involved with helping our little site keep getting their energy to do so.
So when Brian Trenchard-Smith emailed us to tell us he’d been reading the biography of Marty Feldman, he had a little more to say, seeing as he once worked with the man. Here’s Brian:
I had the pleasure of directing Marty Feldman back in 1972 for an Australian TV Special. Two years earlier, I had worked...

Sigourney Weaver has booked a guest role on HBO's new Tea Leoni pilot, 'Spring/Fall.'
According to Deadline, Weaver will play a very "authoratative" fashion editor.
In September, Weaver told Moviefone that she wasn't quite ready to book a starring role on a TV series. However, she wasn't ready to rule it out.
"If the right thing came along, I'd jump at it," she said. "To be a part of a wonderful -- I think it would have to be a comedy or I wouldn't like it -- to be part of a comic ensemble that gets to work together for a long time is just ... what a wonderful idea."
Jessica Hecht, Matt Letscher, Jason Antoon and Marin Hinkle have also joined 'Spring/Fall.' Hope Davis and Tea Leoni star as two women who have a dysfunctional friendship in the world of fashion.
