Avengers: Endgame, directed by Anthony and Joe Russo is the supposed finality to the proceeding twenty-two film saga before it, while also serving as an ending to the Infinity Stone saga and concluding companion piece to last year’s sensationally fulfilling, and intense Avengers: Infinity War, that left us all on a frantic devastating cliff-hanger pining for more. That anticipated wait is now over with Endgame on the verge of opening in over 4,200 auditoriums domestically in the Us, as well as a reported $1 Billion worldwide gross. It is undoubtedly a film that will smash and crush box office expectations, but what about the film itself?

I won't spoil anything for you, but let's just say you'll laugh, you'll feel the urge to physically stand up and clap, and you'll probably cry into your nachos roughly three to seven times. Avengers: Endgame is every bit the magic you hoped it would be.

With Endgame being the culmination of it all, we decided to put the cast's knowledge of the McU to the test. Competing in teams, we had Scarlett Johansson, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Chris Hemsworth, and Jeremy Renner see if they could correctly rank all 22 Marvel movies in chronological order (based on Marvel's official timeline) - which, let's be honest, is no easy task.

The game started off promisingly with Larson and Gillan first choosing the "old timey one," Captain America . . .

Scarlett Johansson Teases Brie Larson for Forgetting When They First Met: 'I Noticed You'
Brie Larson and Scarlett Johansson go way back.

The two actresses reminisced while on The Ellen DeGeneres Show promoting Avengers: Endgame on Tuesday when Elle DeGeneres asked them how they met.

When the 61-year-old host asked if they texted each other before meeting the first time, Larson, 29, said, “We did.”

This raised some red flags for Johansson as that wasn’t the case, so she asked Larson, “You don’t remember how we met?”

“I do. At dinner,” Larson replied — which also wasn’t right.

“No! Clearly, it made an impression on me but somebody else didn’t care,” Johansson,

The 35-year-old actor was honored with a handprint ceremony outside of the Tcl Chinese Theatre in Hollywood on Tuesday alongside his Avengers: Endgame costars Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans and Jeremy Renner.

However, fans are convinced the actor almost misspelled his last name when he signed it onto wet cement, with the ‘t’ in his name barely visible in the dried result.

Hemsworth didn’t seem to mind, however, as he happily posed with his castmates and Marvel President Kevin Feige, who was also honored.

Unfortunately, their efforts haven’t been entirely successful as leaked footage from the film found its way online recently. Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige was not happy with this at all, as he explains to the AP (via ComicBook.com):

“I wasn’t pleased. It’s not cool. It’s not fun. But the response was what I expected, which was everybody turning it off, dismissing it, ‘Don’t watch it, don’t spoil it for anybody else.’

“People are excited to see the movie fresh. People are excited to see the movie for the first time.

Disney/Marvel’s “Avengers: Endgame,” poised to be the hugest movie opening in history, has hit piracy networks — two days before its U.S. premiere — with a copy evidently recorded in a Chinese movie theater now circulating online, according to a published report.

Users in China began sharing a 1.2-gigabyte file of “Avengers: Endgame” on peer-to-peer piracy networks sometime between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. China time on Wednesday, piracy-news site TorrentFreak reported. The pirated copy has since spread to English-language torrent networks, according to the report.

However, per TorrentFreak’s report, the quality of the video-cammed pirated copy is particularly bad. “The image flickers constantly throughout,” the site quoted a source as saying. “It’s semi-rotated and is littered throughout with watermarks for a gambling site that spin around the screen.”

Film Review: Journey to Conclusion is the Thrill of ‘Avengers: Endgame’

Chicago – When it comes down to this, and the creators do it right, there is no more satisfying conclusion than “Avengers: Endgame.” Admirers of this magnificent Marvel (Studios) Universe story will get everything they want. It is the “Gone with the Wind” of superhero epic films.

Rating: 4.5/5.0

What is comes down to is the investment in character. The Marvel stable of superheroes have always have brought in conflicted philosophies to their roles of protection, and as you see this progress take place through the actors they chose to portrays these masked “Avengers,” it relates on a very human level. For all the pomposity of CGI film effects, good-versus-evil battles and flashy super powers, it all comes down to the relationships of family and friends that provide the value of this series. All the box office money in the world can’t buy that feeling.

The mystery of the disappearing people

After ‘Avengers: Endgame,’ What Marvel Cinematic Universe Movies Might We Expect Next?

After ‘Avengers: Endgame,’ What Marvel Cinematic Universe Movies Might We Expect Next?
[Editor’s note: Some mild spoilers ahead for “Avengers: Endgame.”]

By the end of Anthony and Joe Russo’s “Avengers: Infinity War,” the Marvel Cinematic Universe was forever altered, at least until this month’s “Avengers: Endgame,” which promises to provide a satisfying conclusion to both the world-changing “snap” that killed off half the known universe and end the franchise’s so-called Infinity Saga. While both Disney and Marvel have remained predictably mum on what’s to come for the McU after the Avengers-centric series presumably concludes, they’ve been unable to avoid setting aside a slew of dates for upcoming features, along with lining up new titles, directors, and casts to kit them out.

Over the coming years, Marvel and Disney have already staked out a number of future release dates for new McU movies, including eight locked-in dates that run from 2020 until 2022 — only one of these, “Spider-Man: Far From Home,” is confirmed for one of these dates.

‘Avengers: Endgame’ Review: Dirs. Anthony & Joe Russo (2019)

Avengers: Endgame review: From loves lost to friends found, Endgame is everything you want in a third phase farewell.

Marvel Studios 2019

With a decade under its belt, and more than twice that in films, the Marvel Cinematic Universe finally comes together in a three-hour extravaganza that will have you laughing, crying, cheering and whooping from its opening scene. A fitting finale that celebrates lovers lost, friends found, and a whole group of kick-ass women!

Having just left one of the earliest worldwide screenings, I can fully understand and appreciate why the Russo brothers urged Marvel fans to protect the film from spoilers. It’s certainly worth the wait and I for one, don’t want to spoil your experience. What I will say however, is that there is a level of maturity to Avengers: Endgame not seen in any of its predecessors – thanks in part, to the shifting and weaving of itself from formulaic,

‘Avengers: Endgame’ Review: The McU’s Long Goodbye Is an Emotional Wipeout

‘Avengers: Endgame’ Review: The McU’s Long Goodbye Is an Emotional Wipeout
Thanos demands my silence. So if you expect a lot of specific “who lives, who dies” spoilers in this review, snap out of it. However, it is fair to say that Avengers: Endgame, directed by the Russo brothers — Anthony and Joseph — with a fan’s reverence for all that came before, is truly epic and thunderously exciting. You probably won’t care that at three hours, it’s bloated, uneven and all over the place, flitting from character to character like a bird that doesn’t know where to land.
