Juan Ramón Jiménez was born on 24 December 1881 in Muguer, Huelva, Spain. He was a writer, known for Platero y yo (1966), Los libros (1974) and Imágenes y versos a la Navidad (1962). He was previously married to Zenobia Camprubí Aymar. He died on 29 May 1958 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
