Colin Jeavons was born on October 20, 1929 in Newport, Monmouthshire, Wales. He is an actor, known for St. Ives (1967), The Life and Death of Sir John Falstaff (1959) and A Matter of Degree (1960). He has been married to Rosie Preus since 1965. They have two children.

Retired from acting after appearing in To Play the King (1993).
He has two sons - Barney and Saul.
He appeared in two different adaptations of Charles Dickens's 1861 novel "Great Expectations": Great Expectations (1959) and Great Expectations (1981). He played Herbert Pocket in the former and Mr Wemmick in the latter.
