Born in Toronto, Canadian-American actor Graham Jarvis attended Williams College, before moving to New York to pursue a career in theatre. He studied acting at the American Theatre Wing and was an original member of the Lincoln Center Repertory Theater. He appeared in film and television for decades, from the 1960s to the 2000s.

At 19, Jarvis began acting by appearing in a production of "Seven Year Itch" at a small theatre in Virginia.
Was the father of Annie Camden on the TV show, "7th Heaven".
He was the son of Margaret Biddulph (Scratcherd) and William Henry Reginald Jarvis. His maternal grandmother, Katherine Constance Labatt, was the daughter of businessman/brewer John Labatt, whose own father, John Kinder Labatt, founded the Canadian Labatt Brewing Company. Graham's father was president of John Labatt Ltd.
