Trivia (5)

Hates 3D computer animation. According to him, traditional, hand-drawn 2D animation is art (in his native tongue, "müvészet"), while 3D animation is trickery ("büvészet").
Often called "the Walt Disney of Hungary".
Outside of the field of animation, he is an expert on folklore, folk symbolism and graphic design, and has created artwork for a number of books on folk tales.
Considers productions like the Star Wars franchise and films adapted from superhero comics completely worthless, as he feels they lack any artistic merit and are only made to dazzle audiences with cheap tricks.
Is an advocate of the notion that all films should be different from each other. In his view, if a movie looks or feels like another, then there's no point in making it.
