Trivia (6)

Lead singer for the rock group Survivor.
He appeared in a TV commercial, along with his band Survivor, for Starbucks in 2004. It was a parody of their most famous song, "Eye of the Tiger".
Before joining Survivor, he released albums with the bands D Beaver, Target and Cobra.
Albums with Survivor: Vital Signs (1984), When Seconds Count (1986), Too Hot to Sleep (1988), Reach (2006) Solo albums: When Love Comes Down (1991), Empires (1999), Crossroads Moment (2008), Extra Moments (2010), Kimball/Jamison (2011), Never Too Late (2012).
He died of a hemorrhagic brain stroke with acute methamphetamine intoxication contributing, at his Raleigh-area home in Memphis, TN. He also had cardiovascular disease, which led to a 90-percent blockage of each coronary artery.
He had a daughter, Amy L., with his first wife, Brenda. He also had two children with his second wife, Debbie: son, James Michael; and daughter, Lacy Ellen.
