Lee Jackson (born Dennis Lee Jackson) is best known for his work on the video game "Duke Nukem 3D," and specifically for writing the game's theme song, "Grabbag," which has spawned countless covers and spin-offs, including one by heavy metal group Megadeth. His works have also appeared in the soundtracks of "Rise of the Triad: Dark War," "Shadow Warrior," and "Stargunner."

Lee spent his early years in Austin and Houston before moving in 1970 to Pasadena, Texas and Southeast Houston. He then moved back to Austin for a while in 1981, where he attended the University of Texas, and where he met his wife, Brenda. Lee left UT to marry Brenda in 1983, and the two had a son, Nathan, in 1986, before relocating to Garland, a suburb of Dallas, in 1993, to work for Apogee Software, Ltd.

Lee's breakthrough was with the Apogee game, "Rise of the Triad: Dark War." He wrote 28 songs in a six-week time span for the game. He was later promoted to Music and Sound Director for the company in 1996 while working on "Duke Nukem 3D."
