Movie Critic Richard Roeper Gets Suspended for Buying Twitter Followers

Just a few months after The New York Times broke the Harvey Weinstein sex scandal, the publication has broken another scandal wide open, which may have cost a prominent film critic his job. The Chicago Sun-Times announced that film critic Richard Roeper has been suspended by the newspaper, after his name was mentioned among many prominent actors, athletes, influencers and many more, who have used a shady company known as Devumi to purchase fake Twitter followers to enhance his social media presence. Here's what Chicago Sun-Times editor-in-chief Chris Fusco said in a statement.

"We became aware over the weekend of issues relating to Rich Roeper's Twitter account. We're investigating these issues. We will not be publishing any reviews or columns by Rich until this investigation is complete."

As of now, Richard Roeper has over 224,000 Twitter followers, but there is no indication as to how many of those followers are fake.

When you put the two together you can get some really memorable films. Here’s my picks for top five football films.

Little Giants

It seems like each sport has at least one film made for children. Baseball has Sandlot, hockey has Mighty Ducks, basketball has Space Jam and so on. Well when it comes to football that film is Little Giants. The Little Giants

It's Sad to See Bates Motel Go, But It Was a Great Series That Finished Strong!

Last Monday night, we were treated to the final episode of the series Bates Motel. My husband Billy and I were fans since the first episode premiered back in 2013. Freddie Highmore played the famous role of Norman Bates, who we got to see evolve from a high school student, through young adulthood. Vera Farmiga played the role of Norman's mother and namesake, Norma Bates. Both of these characters were incredibly raw, funny, scary and real. I truly believe no one could have played their roles as well as they did.

The show started out with the two of them moving to Oregon to start over. Norma bought a new house and motel to run, and felt that she and Norman could be happy in their new life together. But just as before, trouble followed the Bates', and Norma found herself having to protect Norman and shield him from himself more than ever before.

Bates Motel Season 5 Episode 3 Review: Bad Blood

Spine-tingling suspense is supposed to leave you breathless, uncertain of what's coming next.

Bates Motel Season 5 Episode 3 achieved that over and over again, as an insane game of cat and mouse began with Chick holding the cheese, urging Norman and Mother to make moves they'd find difficult without his presence.

If only we could leap onto one of the many time machines currently available on the telly to find out what in Hades is coming next.

I don't know what your thoughts were after watching, but here were mine:

Did that really happen? What just happened? I want more! Oh my God!!!

The action felt so intimate not only in that few characters were involved, but the material was moving beyond measure.

Reactions were all over the map, from being overjoyed at seeing Caleb alive, to wonder at how Chick was manipulating the situation with Norman's insanity so brilliantly,

Carlton Cuse: We've been talking about putting Marion Crane in the show for a long time.We were very concerned about it because we wanted to make sure that we could do our own version of it. Funny, we ran all these things, people pitching actors who looked like [Janet] Leigh. We wanted to define

Intense Trailer for Bates Motel Season 5 Offers First Look at Rihanna as Marion Crane

A&E has released a fantastic new trailer for the fifth and final season of Bates Motel, and we are in for one hell of an intense season! The new trailer offers up a ton of crazy and exciting new footage from the upcoming season including our first real look at Rihanna as Marion Crane. It looks like this final season will end up taking us through the events of Alfred Hitchcock's film, and it will be interesting to see how they portray the legendary shower scene. We know it's going to be in the series, but will it take a different approach than Hitchcock's vision or will it be a shot-for-shot remake of what Hitchcock did? I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

This is a great trailer, and I'm so excited to see this series come to a close. I've also included a full synopsis

Outsiders Season 2 Episode 2 Review: Shadowside

Will Wade be able to find a way to save Li'l Foster from being made an example of?

That was one of the key questions on Outsiders Season 2 Episode 2 and it was certainly horrible to watch Li'l Foster's ordeal.

Now, it was obvious as heck that bail would not be granted to Li'l Foster.

These people on the ground would see that as a step back in their plan to get the Farrells off the mountain.

The sad thing was that Li'l Foster did not commit the murder and he was not a suspect until he was in custody.

He's one of the most genuine characters on the show, so it's difficult to watch him being put in County. Ryan Hurst is doing his best with all of the material he is being given.
