Alf Humphreys was born on April 3, 1953 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada as Alfred E. Humphreys. He was an actor and writer, known for X2: X-Men United (2003), First Blood (1982) and My Bloody Valentine (1981). He was married to Elizabeth Moss. He died on January 31, 2018 in Stratford, Ontario.

He made guest appearances on both The Twilight Zone (1985) and The Twilight Zone (2002).
He served in the military for a short while, guided tourists through the bush in Northern Ontario, on Baffin Island and in Western Quebec, before joining a theatre company in North Bay.
His childhood hero was Charles Bronson.
Had suffered an accidental broken nose during filming of First Blood (1982) when Sylvester Stallone's character elbowed him in the face when making his escape from the police station.
