Booker Huffman was born on March 1, 1965 in Houston, Texas, USA as Booker Tio Huffman Jr. He is an actor and producer, known for WWE: OMG! - The Top 50 Incidents in WWE History (2011), WCW Monday Nitro (1995) and WCW Worldwide Wrestling (1975). He has been married to Sharmell Sullivan-Huffman since February 5, 2005. They have two children. He was previously married to Levestia Huffman.

Harlem Heat, the tag team he formed with his brother Stevie Ray, is regarded by many to be the best tag team in WCW history.
When he and his brother went over to WCW to become the successful tag team of Harlem Heat, they were managed by former wrestler Rob Parker. The original plan was to call them the "Ghetto Blasters" and have them come to the ring in chains like slaves, but was nixed due to racial sensitivity.
Booker T and his brother Stevie Ray (Lash Huffman) were initially called Kole (Booker) and Kane (Lash) when they entered WCW as Harlem Heat. Their names changed to Booker T and Stevie Ray afterward at their request.

Convicted of two aggravated robberies after pleading guilty in 1987 to armed robbery of Wendy's restaurants in Houston. He and his partners wore Wendy's uniforms during the crimes, having worked there for 2 years. Booker was sentenced to 5 years in prison but served 19 months before being released. His parole ended in April 1992.
During a Summerslam commercial shoot in 2006 he got into a real life physical fight with Batista. They resolved their differences and continued working together shortly after.
