Edit
  • Trivia
Was friends with Jack Nicholson. In Batman (1989), the Joker, played by Nicholson, does a strange dance when he exits Vicki Vale's apartment (when he raises his arms, leans back and blows a raspberry). This was a dance that Hoyt was known to do, the "bird dance", and Nicholson improvised it during the take as a tribute to his friend.
