Paul Rudnick was born on December 29, 1957 in the USA. He is a writer and producer, known for Addams Family Values (1993), In & Out (1997) and The Stepford Wives (2004).

Rudnick writes a monthly satirical film review column for Premiere magazine under the name "Libby Gelman-Waxner." His non-film writing includes the novels "Social Disease" and "I'll Take It, " and the plays "Poor Little Lambs, " "I Hate Hamlet" and "The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told."
Although credited to the pseudonymous Joseph Howard, Sister Act was actually written by Paul Rudnick, Carrie Fisher, Nancy Meyers, Eleanor Bergstein, Jim Cash, 'Jack Epps Jr' and Robert Harling.
Uncredited re-writes to the film The Addams Family (1991).
The January 25, 1988 draft of the script for My Stepmother Is an Alien (1988) credits Jerico as writer, with revisions by Frank Galati, Richard Benner, Susan Rice, Herschel Weingrod & Timothy Harris, Paul Rudnick, and Debra Frank & Carl Sautter, and a further rewrite by Jonathan Reynolds. Only four of the ten writers received credits in the final film.
His newest play "Valhalla" opened at the New York Theatre Workshop on 16 January 2004. [January 2004]
