He has worked on the Hollywood blockbuster films such as Thor: Ragnarok, Croods: A New Age, Lego Movie2 and Hotel Transylvania3 with DEVO's Mark Mothersbaugh.

For video game titles, he had worked on Resident Evil5, Afrika, Kinnect Disneyland Adventure, Halo-2 Anniversary, Knack. Wataru co-wrote the new "Ratchet & Clank : Rift Apart" score with Mark Motheresbaugh.
