Jim Hill was born on October 21, 1946 in San Antonio, Texas, USA as James Webster Hill. He is an actor, known for Rocky III (1982), Polyester (1981) and Pacific Blue (1996). He was previously married to Denise Nicholas.

Former sports director at KABC-TV in Los Angeles, California.
Former color commentator for CBS on National Football League games.
Drafted in the first-Round (18th overall) of the 1968 NFL Draft by the San Diego Chargers out of Texas A&I (now Texas A&M-Kingsville). Played for the Chargers (1969-1971), the Green Bay Packers (1972-1974), and the Cleveland Browns (1975). In 94 games, he had 19 interceptions for 292 yards and one touchdown.
Member of the Los Angeles Urban League board of directors, as well as serving on the Grossman Burn Center board of directors in Sherman Oaks, California. Celebrity spokesperson for the City of Los Angeles Department of Parks and Recreation, and involved in developing youth outreach and fitness programs.
Received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 6801 Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, California on May 9, 2006.
