Lorena Herrera de la Vega born on February 18th 1967 in Mazatlan, Mexico. Her family moved to Mexico City when she was a girl and then started a professional career in modeling. Her natural beauty allowed her to win several beauty contests and participate in most of the important fashion events out of Mexico. Next she met some respected Mexican filmmakers who invite her to work as an actress. Some movies and video-homes later Lorena got the attention from TV producer Emilio Larrosa who gave her the opportunity to work in Muchachitas (1991), a very popular soap opera. After that, she participated in other TV productions such as _"Dos Mujeres, Un Camino" (1993)_, _"Premio Mayor, El" (1995)_ and most recently _"Maria Isabel" (1997)_. Also she starred in several movies, including: Perseguida (1991), _Burbujas de Amor (1991)_ and Cuentas claras (1999). In the middle of the year 1996, Lorena lauched her first pop music production called "Lorena Herrera", creating a great legion of fans. Since then she sings everywhere she has fans. Her beauty is also admired because of sexy-calendars, a very popular Mexican publications in which she posed since 1993. In 1997 she was mentioned as "Gran Mariscal 1997" in New York for her acting performances. Her name is considered synonym of beauty, so she published her own book: "Tips de belleza de Lorena Herrera" (Tips for Beauty by Lorena Herrera). Also some beauty products are launched for sales with her name.
