Bud Harrelson was born on June 6, 1944 in Niles, California, USA as Derrell McKinley Harrelson. He is an actor, known for It's My Turn (1980), USA Thursday Game of the Week (1979) and Fielding for Kids (1987). He has been married to Kim Battaglia since August 15, 1976. He was previously married to Yvonne.

Was the glue of the Mets infield for more than a decade (1965-1977).
Named to the National League All Star teams in 1970 and 1971; was the starting shortstop in the 1971 game in Detroit.
Served as third base coach for the Mets under manager Davey Johnson; succeeded Johnson as manager in 1990 and remained in that capacity until the final week of the 1991 season.
Was Tom Seaver's roommate when the Mets were on the road.
Traded to the Philadelphia Phillies in 1977.
Played in the 1969 and 1973 World Series while with the Mets.
