John Harle was born on September 20, 1956 in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England. He is known for his work on The Piano (1993), The Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover (1989) and Silent Witness (1996).

Trivia (1)

Studied at London College of Music and Paris Conservatoire formed his own rock/jazz group, The John Harle Band in 1991, for which he plays keyboards and various saxophones, while continuing to be a member of The Michael Nyman Band has had saxophone music written specifically for him by such composers as 'Luciano Berio', 'Dominic Moldowney', 'Harrison Birtwistle', 'Richard Rodney Bennett', and 'Michael Nyman'.
