Gregor worked in the lighting department on many feature films and TV shows before becoming a Cinematographer full-time. He became a full member of the Canadian Society of Cinematographers in 2008. In 2001 Gregor shot the first HD feature in Canada, Rub & Tug (Don McKellar). He was also an an early adopter of the Red One digital camera in Canada (the short films Feel My Pain, Love & Justice and Sir Francis Drake all shot in 2007). Gregor has received much recognition for his work from the Canadian Screen Awards, the CSC Awards and other organizations.
