Victorine is raised in a commercial/musical entourage in South Limburg and 's-Hertogenbosch North Brabant. She is also called van den Heuvel as her surname. At the beginning of the 21st century, after a car accident and years of recovery, she starts a research on the Dutch East India Company. In particular the first Dutch/European women in the 17th century at the Cape of Good Hope in South Africa. In 2015 she finishes the documentary script of the above mentioned subject with the title: 'Share with me your wanderings.' As a high school girl she discovers the drama writers. She takes a course at the Theatre School and is an apprentice journalist, theatre-department at a daily newspaper in South Limburg. In 1970-1974 she studies at the Dutch Film Academy in Amsterdam. For 25 years she is the editor of eighteen Dutch and Flemish feature films. Her first black/white short documentary 1975 is awarded with the bronze Miqueldi in Bilbao, Nairobi the best short, Oberhausen the Youth and Jury. Sydney, Melbourne and London, outstanding film of the year. Beside her love for film editing, she is a screenwriter and director of short drama productions and several documentaries. From the beginning of her career she is an independent entrepreneur.
