Alumnus of the longest running historical outdoor play in the United States, The Lost Colony, penned by Paul Green. He was a cast member at the Waterside Theater in Manteo, North Carolina from 1947 - 1953 and was eventually offered the role of Sir Walter Raleigh, a role that he accepted and played for five years.
