(1961), The Sea Chase (1955) and Bulldog Drummond Strikes Back (1947). He was married to Elizabeth W. Wilson and Mary Goodwin. He died on January 13, 1969 in Pacific Palisades, California, USA.

Cold-eyed American character actor with a sliver mustache whose gents were smart dressers and slick professionals, usually a lawyer; often played sly villains in crime stories.
Appearing in a number of stock companies in the New England area which culminated in a principal role with Helen Hayes in "Mary of Scotland" and in smaller roles with Tallulah Bankhead in "The Circle", Dorothy McGuire in "Claudia" and Laurence Olivier and Vivien Leigh in "Romeo and Juliet". He also was a Pasadena Playhouse performer from 1948 to 1953.
Has a daughter Nancy.
