‘Pretty In Pink’ Reunion: Watch Molly Ringwald Take Down Jon Cryer With Her Rap Battle Skills on ‘Drop The Mic’
It’s the “Pretty in Pink” sequel that no one saw coming: Andie (Molly Ringwald) and Duckie (Jon Cryer) finally resolve a few things, via sick burns on TBS’ hip-hop battle series “Drop the Mic.” On this Sunday’s episode, Ringwald and Cryer lay it all out: Cryer proclaims, “You’re not Julianne Moore, you’re Julianne less!” But Ringwald hits him back hard: “You’re 5-foot-6, weigh 110, now were you the half man in ‘Two and a Half Men’?”

Watch the full clip below!

Both stars hold their own, but it’s a bit of an unfair fight: Ringwald dated the Beastie Boys’ Ad-Rock in the late 1980s, and she clearly picked up some rap skills and pointers while they were together.

Drop the Mic,” based on the segment from “The Late Late Show with James Corden,” is a bit of a celebrity roast, as stars come on and

Last Jedi Director Finally Reveals His Secret Cameo

Last Jedi Director Finally Reveals His Secret Cameo
Rian Johnson was, understandably, pretty excited to get the gig to write and direct The Last Jedi and now his cameo in the movie has finally been revealed. The Blu-ray for the movie is out at the end of the month, but some lucky fans have already gotten their hands on a copy and listened to Johnson's commentary track, which reveals his small cameo in the movie that nobody would have guessed in a million years. Even fans who have seen The Last Jedi in the theater more than once would not have picked up on this cameo.

The digital release of The Last Jedi has unveiled Tom Hardy's as well as Prince William and Harry's cameos in the movie. Mark Hamill's cameo as Dobbu Scay was figured out within the first week that the movie was released, but not many were even privy to Rian Johnson having

Rian Johnson Reveals His Secret Cameo In Star Wars: The Last Jedi

If you’re a diehard, lifelong fan of Star Wars and you got handed the directing job to one of the most important movies in the whole saga, you’d probably find it difficult to resist giving yourself a little cameo. And sure enough, that’s exactly what Rian Johnson did.

Yet, upon the release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, not even the most eagle-eyed of fans managed to spot his extremely subtle appearance. Now, though, courtesy of the film’s commentary track, we finally have confirmation on what it was: a close-up of a gloved hand clutching Han Solo’s golden dice from the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon.

If your memory is a bit hazy, the shot comes close to the climax of the film, when Luke apparently appears to save the day. During his touching reunion with Carrie Fisher’s General Leia, he hands her the dice.

Pennywise Casts A Shadow Over This Creepy Fan-Made Trailer For It: Chapter Two

Pennywise isn’t expected to return until September of 2019, but in order to sate our appetite for sewer-dwelling clowns, YouTuber Stryder HD has served up the next best thing: a creepy fan-made trailer for It: Chapter Two that indulges in a little wishful thinking.

Sure, Jessica Chastain is said to be circling the role of Beverly Marsh, but this custom trailer goes one step further to cast the likes of Jake Gyllenhaal as Eddie Kaspbrak, Terrence Howard as Mike Hanlon, Patrick Wilson as Bill Denbrough, Infinity War‘s Chris Pratt as Ben Hanscom, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Richie Tozier and, finally, Jon Heder as Stanley Uris, who doesn’t take news of Pennywise’s return too kindly in Stephen King’s literary masterpiece.

If nothing else, it’s an exciting tease of what could be, though without any firm casting details out in the wild – you know, aside from those negotiations

Jeff Daniels movies: 15 greatest films ranked from worst to best, including ‘The Squid and the Whale,’ ‘Terms of Endearment’ …
Jeff Daniels hasn’t gotten his due at the Oscars, where he has never received a single nomination despite a career spanning almost 40 years. But the same is not true at the Emmys, which awarded him Best Drama Actor for playing news anchor Will McAvoy in “The Newsroom” in 2013. He’s got two chances to compete this year in the Best Movie/Mini Actor category, as an FBI investigator hunting Osama bin Laden in Hulu‘s “The Looming Tower” and a dangerous outlaw in Netflix‘s “Godless.” In honor of this double achievement, we’re taking a look back at some of his very best performances on the big screen. Tour through our photo gallery above of Daniels’s 15 greatest films, ranked from worst to best.

Despite being repeatedly snubbed at the Oscars, Daniels has contended at the Golden Globes multiple times for his film work. He received three nominations

Bruce Willis movies: 15 greatest films, ranked worst to best, including ‘Die Hard,’ ‘The Sixth Sense,’ ‘Pulp Fiction’

Bruce Willis movies: 15 greatest films, ranked worst to best, including ‘Die Hard,’ ‘The Sixth Sense,’ ‘Pulp Fiction’
The latest Bruce Willis for 2018 is a remake of the Charles Bronson 1970s movie “Death Wish.” Willis has always been a box office success during his career and had occasional positive response from critics as well. Let’s take a look back at his greatest films in our photo gallery (view above) that ranks his top 15 performances from worst to best.

Willis grew up in New Jersey, but after appearing in a college production of “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof,” he dropped out and left for New York City to launch a professional acting career. He first became a famously flashy bartender in various clubs (think Tom Cruise in “Cocktail”), but found his big break years later understudying and later replacing Ed Harris in the acclaimed off-Broadway production of Sam Shepard’s play “Fool for Love.”

'Gringo' Review: Star-Studded Crime Farce Is Pretty Pitiful Pulp Fiction

'Gringo' Review: Star-Studded Crime Farce Is Pretty Pitiful Pulp Fiction
The All-Star Pulp Fiction Gonzo Crime Farce (Tm) – it's practically a genre. Get a bunch of famous people together (not like disaster movie or Ocean's Eleven-level famous, but enough to reach I've-seen-these-actors-before mark), get them mixed up in some very complicated caper or heist or scam, run them around in circles until something funny, or frightening, or in the best-case scenario, funny-then-frightening, happens. Foreign locales and cheesy soundtrack cuts are a plus. So's gory, unexpected violence. There have been good, bad and ugly versions of this movie over the past few decades,

Fan-Made Trailer For It: Chapter 2 Features Jessica Chastain, Chris Pratt, Patrick Wilson and More

While we wait to find out who will end up being cast as the adult versions of The Losers Club in It: Chapter 2, here's a great fan-made trailer that features some fan-favorite casting choices. Some of these choices are based on who the young actors have said they'd like to see play the older versions of their characters. The actors include Jessica Chastain as Beverly, Patrick Wilson as Bill, Chris Pratt as Ben, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Stanley, Bill Hader as Richie, Jake Gyllenhaal as Eddie, and Chiwetel Ejiofor as Mike.

So far, the only actor that we know is currently in talks to join the sequel is Jessica Chastain. It's going to be really interesting to see who ends up in the other roles. I'm sure we'll find out in the next few months.

This is a very well-made and effective trailer that compiles footage from various other films and I think you'll enjoy it.

The 2018 Independent Spirit Awards were handed out on Oscar eve, March 3, during a lively ceremony presided over by the comedy team of Nick Kroll and John Mulaney. These long-time comedy collaborators returned to host the 33rd Indie Spirits after a well-received turn at the podium last year.

Many Academy Awards hopefuls are in contention for these prizes bestowed by Film Independent. Luca Guadagnino‘s romance “Call Me by Your Name” has a leading six nominations and was locked in a tight race for Best Picture with Jordan Peele‘s horror satire “Get Out,” which won. Also in the hunt was Greta Gerwig‘s coming-of-age memoir “Lady Bird” is in the mix as well. The two Oscar frontrunners — “The Shape of Water” and “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri” — were inexplicably snubbed in this top race.

As we predicted “Three Billboards” won the same acting awards that it is tipped to take

‘Darkest Hour’ Makeup Artist Left Retirement to Turn Gary Oldman Into Winston Churchill

‘Darkest Hour’ Makeup Artist Left Retirement to Turn Gary Oldman Into Winston Churchill
The Oscar buzz surrounding Gary Oldman’s turn as Winston Churchill has been deafening since “Darkest Hour” hit the festival circuit last August, and he’s already racked up the lion’s share of this season’s accolades.

But when Oldman first met with producers and director Joe Wright for the Focus Features movie, he was open about his concerns. “I said to them, ‘We’re not talking about the elephant in the room, which is that I don’t look anything like Churchill,’” Oldman recalls. “I don’t know how this is going to be done, but if there’s one man who has even a remote chance of pulling this off, that’s Kazuhiro Tsuji.”

Makeup artist Tsuji had established himself as something of a miracle worker, having transformed Jim Carrey into the Grinch and helped Joseph Gordon-Levitt resemble a young Bruce Willis in “Looper.” There was only one problem: Tsuji had been retired from the

It 2 Wants Jessica Chastain as Adult Beverly

It 2 Wants Jessica Chastain as Adult Beverly
The adult Losers Club cast for It 2 is finally starting to come together, with two-time Oscar nominee Jessica Chastain entering talks to star in the sequel. If a deal is finalized, she will portray the adult version of Beverly Marsh, who was portrayed by Sophia Lillis in last year's It, which became the highest-grossing horror movie of all time last fall. With the first member of the adult Loser's Club in place, it will be interesting to see how quickly the rest of the cast comes together as the filmmakers prepare for a summer shoot.

What's interesting about this casting is it was actually predicted a few months ago by Deviant Art user NetoRibeiro89, who put together a series of character posters featuring The Losers Club members as adults, with who the artist thought would be cast as these characters. Sophia Lillis also stated in an interview that she wanted

Prince William’s Not Happy He Got Cut From Star Wars: The Last Jedi

Two years ago, The Force Awakens was teeming with super-secret celebrity cameos – Simon Pegg (Unkar Plutt), Daniel Craig (Stormtrooper) and Billie Lourd (Lieutenant Connix)…to name but three – and Star Wars: The Last Jedi was no different.

Rian Johnson’s entry into that galaxy far, far away featured a plethora of familiar faces to look out for. Including, but not limited to, Tom Hardy, Gary Barlow, Justin Theroux, Joseph Gordon-Levitt (a regular cohort of Johnson’s, following Brick and Looper), Noah Segan, Rogue One director Gareth Edwards and Warwick Davis who, like Theroux, appeared amid the crowds of Canto Bight, the flashy Star Wars equivalent of Las Vegas.

But wait a second, you’re probably saying right now. Where are Prince William and Harry on that list? Well, as we learned shortly before the film hit theaters, the brothers unfortunately had their cameo cut, meaning they didn’t make it into The Last Jedi,

Berlinale Drama Series Days Sees American TV Playing to the World

A number of American drama series imports are hitting Berlinale’s Drama Series Days, but despite depicting a variety of States-specific stories — such as the politics and power battles in the American high school system in Jack Ferry and Ryan Hunter’s “Mr. Student Body President”; the rivalry between the FBI and the CIA in Dan Futterman’s “The Looming Tower”; or gang culture on the streets and within the police force in Joe Halpin’s “The Oath” — producers are preparing for international audiences.

“It’s informed by a life I used to live, so it’s definitely rooted in the American police infrastructure,” Halpin says about “The Oath.” “But I think an international audience can empathize with it because any power structure, when it gets corrupted, I think everybody throughout the world experiences that.”

The Oath” was also designed around the theme of family, which Halpin says will also speak universally.

“[Family] resonates in every

Jon Favreau Voices ‘Important’ Alien Character In Solo: A Star Wars Story

Iron Man and The Jungle Book director Jon Favreau is a pleasant last-minute addition to the cast of Solo: A Star Wars Story as the voice of an alien. The modern Star Wars films are no stranger to star-studded cameos, ranging from Daniel Craig’s stormtrooper to Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s law-abiding Canto Bight resident. There were even plans for British royalty to appear in The Last Jedi, but the roles for Princes Harry and William were cut due to their height. Apparently, they were too tall for stormtroopers.
