Nathaniel Goodman
Nathaniel Goodman, ASC is a Director of Photography, Director and Writer based in Los Angeles. He attended Brown University where he received an honors degree in critical theory and attended graduate school at UCLA before entering the film industry as a 2nd Assistant Cameraman on John Frankenheimer's 52 Pick Up. As he worked his way up through the camera department, as 1st Assistant Camera on films such as Soap Dish and Singles, operator on films such as Godzilla, Bowfinger, and television pilots (Heroes et al) and series (Line of Fire et al), he ended up having the opportunity to shoot Heroes for all four seasons. Since then he's shot numerous pilots (eg. The 100, Torchwood: Miracle Day) and series (eg. Falling Skies, Swamp Thing, Made For Love) and the recent feature Small Town Wisconsin, which he also co-produced. He has also directed episodes of television (eg.Reign, Bitten, Made For Love) and has written for the screen (Formosa Betrayed). He won an ICG Emerging Cinematographers Award in 2006 for the award winning short The Fix, and has been nominated for both an ASC Award (Timeless) and an Emmy Award (Made For Love).
