Christiansen's first job was at the age of 2 years old when she worked at the TSA-LA-GI Indian Village making mud pies for the tourists. She did this for two years, later returning to the village to work for the Cherokee Heritage Center (better known as the TSA-LA-GI Indian Village) at the age of 13 for another 2 years to help pay the bills.
