David Garry grew up in Connecticut, and was a member of the Oddfellows Playhouse Youth Theater in his late teens. He had received awards for acting in high school, and had worked at the renowned Goodspeed Opera House before moving on to study Theater at the City University of New York. While he was there in New York City (1990-1994), he furthered his skills in acting with classes, college and community theater productions, and started to generate an income as an actor on stage.

He moved to Los Angeles in 1994, joined SAG-AFTRA early on, and had become a longtime performing member of the award-winning theater company, Theatre Neo (in which he had also served as board member and show producer). Amongst the many roles he's had on stage, in commercials, films, and television, a couple favorites include played the recurring role of 'Hanrahan' on 'Just Shoot Me!', and in 2013 David proudly produced and starred in the film, 'The Man Who Loved His Cat'.

In addition to the acting and performing world, David has been a filmmaker (Stuffed Whale Productions) having produced and directed 'Deaners', a documentary film on the fans of James Dean.

David is a Libra, loves cold sesame noodles, and hates evil.
