Jack Garner was born on September 19, 1926 in Norman, Oklahoma, USA as Jack Edward Bumgarner. He was an actor, known for My Fellow Americans (1996), The Rockford Files (1974) and The Rousters (1983). He was married to Elizabeth J. Ludwick. He died on September 13, 2011 in Rancho Mirage, California, USA.

Older brother of actor James Garner.
Jack was an excellent athlete who was a pitcher with the Pittsburg Pirates organization for over 10 years. After his baseball career, he moved on to golf, while also working as an actor. He was a longtime member of the Professional Golfers Association, played competitively, & later taught at Oakmont Country Club in Glendale, CA.
Was frequently cast in various small roles in his brother James Garner's 1974-1980 NBC-TV series The Rockford Files (1974), and in other productions starring James Garner thereafter, including Bret Maverick (1981), The Rockford Files movies, and Streets of Laredo (1995), Jack Garner's final role.
Uncle of Gigi Garner.
Was a week older than Julie London. He guest-starred with her on an episode of Emergency! (1972).
In 2000, he had knee replacement surgery for both of his knees.
