Green-eyed starlet with Universal-International in the 1940's. A noted pin-up girl for GI's, who modeled for such magazines as PIC, Esquire, Hit, Modern Romance and Modern Screen.
Wrote a weekly column for a local newspaper at the age of 16.
An outdoorsy type, she excelled at swimming, tennis and bowling.
Always had a black cat in the house as a pet to prove that she was not superstitious.
After both her marriage and her movie career faltered in the mid-50's, she fell on hard times and became mentally unstable, forced to undergoing electroshock treatments.
While working as a cigarette girl at the Hollywood night spot Ciro, she was once tipped 20$ for a 1$ cigar by Hollywood legend George Jessel.
