John Franklin was born on June 16, 1959 in Blue Island, Chicago, Illinois, USA as John Paul Salapatek. He is an actor and writer, known for Children of the Corn (1984), The Addams Family (1991) and Addams Family Values (1993). He has been married to David White since September 2008.

Graduated from the University of Illinois with a BFA in Theatre

Teaches Shakespeare, English, and screenwriting at Golden Valley High School in Santa Clarita, California to juniors and seniors.
