Scott Frank was born on March 10, 1960 in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA. He is a writer and producer, known for Logan (2017), Out of Sight (1998) and The Lookout (2007).

Brother-in-law of director Phil Joanou, who directed Frank's teleplay 'Dead End for Delia' installment of Showtime's television noir anthology, Fallen Angels (1993). Frank also wrote the screenplay for Joanou's 1996 feature, Heaven's Prisoners (1996).
Alumnus of University of California-Santa Barbara; Film Studies Dept.
Nominated for the 2018 Emmy Award in the Outstanding Directing For A Limited Series, Movie Or Dramatic Special category for Godless (2017), but lost to Ryan Murphy for American Crime Story: The Man Who Would Be Vogue (2018).
