Trivia:
Has often been cast in roles in projects pertaining to the Tudor period of English history. He appeared in the 1998 film "Elizabeth" as Alvaro de Quadra and then played Thomas Cromwell in the Showtime series "The Tudors". He was later cast as the Earl of Warwick in the BBC's "The White Queen" (about Elizabeth Woodville who was the grandmother of Henry VIII and great-grandmother to Elizabeth I).
