However, the group soon find out that the hall is more haunted that they thought, and Mark’s hidden past soon comes back to haunt him.

DVD Review: Stormhouse
Title: Stormhouse Directed by: Dan Turner Starring: Katherine Flynn, Grant Masters, Martin Delaney, Grahame Fox Running time: 88 minutes, Rated R Hayley Sands, a girl who can communicate with the dead, is brought to a secret underground military base called Stormhouse where a supernatural entity is being held captive behind a reverse electromagnetic fence…but the fence won’t hold for long. Allegedly this film is based on true events, which makes sense because real life is boring, much like this film. Sure it’s got special effects, buckets of blood, trash talking possessed people and a haunted basketball…wait, Wtf? The dialogue was juvenile, the acting was next to terrible and the ending...

Ralph Fiennes takes to the London stage in The Tempest

The awesome Ralph Fiennes is about to tread the boards in London’s West End in William Shakespeare’s The Tempest at the Theatre Royal Haymarket. The production began previews last week and is booking until 29th October, 2011.

Almost certainly Shakespeare’s last play, The Tempest can lay claim to being the first ever work of magic realism. Marooned and left to die on a remote island, Prospero can command spirits, create apparitions and manipulate the elements. By using his magic, he assembles his enemies to take revenge on them, and in the process awakens in Miranda, his teenage daughter, her first experience of love. The theme of reconciliation gives immense emotional force to Shakespeare’s farewell to the stage.

Joining Ralph Fiennes, who leads the company as Prospero are Nicholas Lyndhurst as Trinculo, Chris Andrew Mellon (Sebastian), Michael Benz (Ferdinand), Tom Byam Shaw (Ariel), Jim
