Severance Season 2 Episode 6 Finally Addressed A Burning Question About Innies & Outies
Image
Warning: This article contains major spoilers. Don't be a shambolic rube by reading this without watching the latest episode of "Severance" first.

After arguably hitting its peak with the Outdoor Retreat and Team-Building Occurrence, season 2 of "Severance" has settled back into a more familiar rhythm in the weeks since ... though that's not to say that the series hasn't continued moving the story in fascinating directions. Episode 5 shifted gears considerably and opted for a much more low-key hour, but what about the sixth? This latest episode, titled "Attila," just introduced some of our biggest wrinkles yet. Dylan G. (Zach Cherry) finally discerns the meaning of his bestie Irving B.'s (John Turturro) final words, "Hang in there," and discovers his instructions leading to the creepy-looking hallway from his outie's paintings. Mark S. (Adam Scott) and Helly R. (Brit Lower) consummate their romance -- for real, this time. And, over in the...

Image
Spoiler Alert: The following story contains details from the season finale of Apple TV+’s Severance.

For Lumon macrodata refiners Mark (Adam Scott), Dylan (Zach Cherry), Helly (Britt Lower) and Irving (John Turturro), the Season 1 finale of Apple TV+’s Severance is full of revelations.

The episode, titled “The We We Are,” picks up right where the prior episode left off, watching as Dylan prepares to pull the control room switches that will bridge the consciousnesses of his colleagues’ “innies” with their “outie” bodies, allowing them to glean a better understanding of who they really are outside of work, in hopes that they’ll one day be able to escape the prison that is their professional life.

When Dylan executes the innies’ plan back at Lumon HQ, Mark is at a reading of his brother-in-law Ricken’s (Michael Chernus) book, The You You Are, with his boss Harmony Cobel (Patricia Arquette...

China brings the USA to its knees. First look at Jeffrey Travis' thriller Dragon Day
Whenever I think of the apocalypse, I tend to think of it as manifesting due to a natural disaster, a virus or some out-of-this-world phenomenon (like an alien invasion). I’m sure at some point I’ve connected it with war but I can pretty much guarantee that I never considered it from the perspective of Jeffrey Travis’ Dragon Day.

Think for a moment of all the bits of technology you own, from your microwave to your car. 90% of those items are made in China and chances are, it has a chip of some sort in it. There’s also a very high chance that there are millions of others in the Us (and likely the world) who have that same item. Travis and co-writer Matt Patterson’s story takes place after China calls a type of war on the Us by literally shutting down the country via those pesky made in China chips.
