Hal Fimberg (1907–1974)

Writer, author and songwriter, educated at Northeastern University. He was in vaudeville, then became an orchestra leader. He wrote scripts and produced radio programs for Ken Murray, Al Jolson, Judy Canova and Amos & Andy. Joining ASCAP in 1955, he wrote the popular song "People are Funnier Than Anybody".
