Among the actors she appeared opposite were Hoot Gibson, Buck Jones, John Wayne and Ken Maynard. She arrived in Hollywood in 1919 on the strength of having won a :Motion Picture Classic" magazine's Fame and Fortune Contest. Despite having a good voice, she did not do particularly well in sound pictures and restricted her later performances to radio (in Chicago) and vaudeville.
