Gary Michael Evans was born Joseph Michael Barnot, Jr. on June 18, 1964 in Warren, Ohio. He graduated from John Adams HS in San Francisco in 1982, what're he was named class valedictorian. From 1983 -1986, Gary studied with the legendary Herbert Berghof at HB Studios from 1983-1986. He was a finalist at The Actors Studio from 1986-1988, before being selected as a lifetime member in1988, by Artistic Director Ellen Burstyn.
