Trivia (8)

Brother of Gai Loper.
As a gimmick, he had himself billed as simply "Wesley" in the credits of Land of the Lost (1974). This ploy hardly worked as it was intended to; in fact, Eure regrets the effort to this day.
His last name is pronounced "Your."
Was picked to succeed David Cassidy as Keith Partridge on The Partridge Family (1970). But this didn't work out because the series was canceled following Cassidy's departure.
From 1974-1981, he was the original Mike Horton on Days of Our Lives (1965).
Wesley was hired by ABC to play Gopher on The Love Boat (1977), but at the last minute, NBC refused to share Wesley who was starring on Days of Our Lives (1965).
He was awarded a Golden Palm Star on the Palm Springs Walk of Star in 2007.
His stage work includes "West Side Story" (he was Action of the Jets) and "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" (in the title role).

Personal Quotes (1)

One of the most touching comments I've ever gotten from a fan was when Kathy and I were told that we should have been cast as "Doctor Who" companions following "Land of the Lost". It *would* have been extremely interesting to try updating some of our signature phrases from that earlier series: "Run, Holly; run, there's a Dalek!"
